ROC Pride Picnic

It’s that time of year…Please join us!

The 2024 ROC Pride Picnic is happening on Sunday July 14, 12noon to 6pm in Genesee Valley Park, Round House area. The Pride Picnic has been a Rochester tradition for over 50 years and we expect record attendance this year!

The event is mainly a “bring your own” food and beverage picnic, though there will be some food trucks there. No alcohol will be sold, but you can bring a moderate amount in accordance with County Park rules. No smoking is allowed within 100 feet of other attendees. Pets must be leashed at all times. All are welcome, with the proviso that mutual respect is mandatory.

Entertainment includes Piano Bar with Bob Dietch, dancing with a DJ, Drag performances hosted by Samantha Vega & friends, Drag BINGO, a fabulous Gift Raffle, Children’s Activity Packs and more.

The site is mostly wheelchair accessible with paved walkways. There will be ASL interpreters available, and we have braille BINGO cards. The food vendors have vegan food options.

The Round House area is entered from Moore Rd. off Elmwood Ave. NOTE: General Parking is in the University of Rochester lot across the road. You can get to the U/R lot by pulling into the University entrance off Elmwood and following the signs looping back to it. There is a walkway that you will follow to the picnic area.

Any parking in the Roundhouse lots is limited to those with Passes or Handicapped permits.

Tickets admit one for a donation of $5.
